RFS2: Will We Hit the Targets?
The reality: current Renewable Fuels Standard mandates for volumes of advanced and cellulosic biofuels will not be met.
It is likely that sometime in the not-too-distant future, this reality will be reflected in revised volumes. The more informed decision makers are, the more likely that any change to the RFS will be based on facts and science rather than beliefs, myths and politics.
The objective of this briefing is to provide fact-based, objective information about the state of technology and investment in advanced biofuels made either from cellulosic feedstocks or from innovative processing methods.
